Through community art project’s including murals, workshops and residencies at schools, community centres, events, festivals and activations Sarah works with children, young people and adults. Her approach prioritises inclusivity, making art accessible to all regardless of age, background, or artistic experience. Sarah has a passion to engage, encourage and inspire by sharing her love and knowledge of art.
Sarah’s passion lies at the intersection of well-being, art, and community, and she is a strong advocate for mental health awareness through art. A firm believer in the transformative and healing power of creativity, she sees art not only as a therapeutic and mindfulness tool but also as an outlet for self-expression and play. Sarah believes that creating art is a powerful way to connect with others and the world around us, fostering a sense of self and overall well-being.

Past projects and roles include:
Art residency at The Alfred Hospital, IPU - acute mental health facility working directly with consumers to create artworks that de-stigmatise and illuminate mental health. Additionly, Sarah created murals in the wards and courtyards, inspired by the tranquil effects of nature.
Partnering with Stonnington Youth Services to mentor young people in mural painting on traffic signal boxes. Sarah worked with young people to create a design, practice techniques, plan and procure the materials needed before execution of painting a signal box.
Free art classes in Grattan Gardens with The Windsor Workshop for City of Stonnington.
Botanical art workshops in schools and organisations such as Hester Hornbrook Academy, NMIT and Centre for Multicultural Youth.
Hanks on art workshops at public high schools working with disengaged students on meaningful art projects including murals, mosaics and paper crafts.
Mural collaborative painting with The Living Free Project. Mentoring Living Free young people through the design process, procurement of supplies and materials, developing and experimentation of techniques and collaborative painting of murals.
Art workshops at events at Monash and Melbourne Universities with The Windsor Workshop.
Public art projects working in collaboration with artist Tony Sowersby working alongside unemployed, vulnerable or at risk young people many who experience mental health challenges.
